More info

Morning tea and Moringa tea are co- related to each other. Both of them almost sound the same. Taking a morning tea good for health will be a great start of the day. Moringa tea consists of a number of nutritional values which can help you stay active throughout the entire day.

Moringa Tea is made from the leaves of the Moringa oleifera tree, prominent source of the powerful antioxidant  as well as vitamins A & C, calcium, potassium, iron and protein. Moringa is known to boost energy and mental clarity. It has also been effective in lowering LDL cholesterol levels, and preventing the abnormal growth of blood clots. Drinking Moringa Tea may help with arthritis pain and other painful joint aches and pains. When infused the leaves will release an abundance of these nutrients and antioxidants while providing a refreshing and flavorful tea served hot or cold.

Description:

Use one tea bag per cup. Add boiling water to cup and let the tea bag steep as long as desired. Tea will get increasingly spicy as more anti-inflammatory compounds are released. This is particularly beneficial when experiencing a sore throat and to reduce phlegm. Add honey and/ or lemon as desired. Wait until tea has cooled down before drinking.

Moringa Tea Recipes:

Cold Moringa Tea
1-2 tbsp Moringa leaf powder
Slice of fresh ginger root or freshly squeezed lemon juice
Honey to taste (optional)
Add ingredients to a 16 oz. bottle of water. Shake thoroughly and allow to sit for an hour. Moringa sleeps well in cold water, but it takes longer to brew than it would in hot water.

Hot Moringa Tea
Use the above recipe, and use ½ to 1 teaspoon of Moringa leaf powder in 8-12 oz. of hot water. Allow the tea to steep, preferably covered, for up to ten minutes. Enjoy!

Variations: Add any of the following common tea ingredients to create a more complex and tasty Moringa tea:
Green tea
Lemongrass
Lemon zest
Coconut milk
